Project Bridgitise: Open PhD positions

Three PhD positions are still available as part of the project Bridgitise, whose aim it is to develop effective bridge management methods for aging and deteriorating bridges. Cestel is participating in the Bridgitise project together with the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute; our topic of research is the use of vision-based data and machine learning in improving bridge weigh-in-motion technology (position DC4).

Bridgitise is a project funded under the Horizon Europe funding programme for research and innovation. As part of the project, we will host a PhD student for 36 months – click here for more information on the position.
