Bridgitise project finally kicks off

Aging infrastructure and extreme weather events do not go together, which is why the EU is funding a series of research projects aimed at developing new methods of safeguarding roads, bridges, tunnels, and other critical infrastructure.

One of these projects is Bridgitise, which officially kicked off this month. The goal of Bridgitise is to connect research institutions and industry members with PhD students with the aim of developing new methods of monitoring the state of bridges.
